Preface

This morning, the Wenzhou production base completed the special train shipment of capacitors for the Ethiopian Sugar Group. After 72 hours of full-load testing, 42 BSMJ series filter power capacitors were loaded into customized moisture-proof wooden boxes and shipped to Ningbo Port. This batch of equipment will cross the Indian Ocean directly to the Port of Djibouti and finally arrive at the Ethiopian Sugar Factory Substation at an altitude of 2,400 meters. It took a total of 72 hours from signing the order to shipment. This is the ninth batch of capacitors we have delivered to this customer in three years.

Technical Breakthroughs In Plateau Capacitors

We are well aware of the harsh test that plateau environments put on capacitors. The capacitors shipped this time adopt a triple protection design: the metallized film is treated with nano-coating to withstand a 95% humidity environment; the vacuum impregnation process ensures a 99.3% impregnation rate, eliminating the dielectric air gap caused by the altitude difference; the reinforced shell passes a 2000-hour salt spray test. In the simulation test, the power capacitors fluctuation of this batch of capacitors was ≤0.8% under a drastic temperature difference of 25°C to 65°C, which fully meets the working conditions of the frequent start-stop of the sugar factory crusher.


Quality Control System

As a professional capacitor manufacturer, we have established a closed-loop quality control system covering the entire process. In the film slitting process, the laser thickness gauge scans the polypropylene film at a frequency of every 0.5 seconds, strictly controlling the thickness tolerance within the range of ±0.8%; the winding process maintains a constant tension of 0.3 Newtons through the servo system to completely eliminate the hidden dangers of interlayer gaps; the finished product must withstand a 24-hour endurance test at 1.5 times the rated voltage to ensure that the leakage current is stable within the safety threshold of 0.002mA/μF. This system supports the 1,800 power capacitors we delivered to the East African market to achieve a failure rate of 0.008%. After the first batch of 68 capacitors in the Ethiopian Sugar Factory continued to operate for three years, the measured capacity decay was only 0.31%, and the insulation resistance remained at a high level of 15GΩ.


Delivery efficiency guarantee

The intelligent production system we have built supports a 72-hour fast delivery cycle. Eight fully automatic production lines achieve a daily production capacity of 1,200 capacitors, and the winding robot completes the precision winding of the film at a speed of 42 meters per minute. Special processes are launched for plateau orders: the raw material warehouse gives priority to the allocation of moisture-proof polypropylene film, the packaging area is pre-set with 1980×1120×1100mm desert yellow protective wooden boxes, and the electronic customs declaration materials are transmitted to the customs system of the destination port 48 hours in advance.


Service Commitment

When a capacitor fails, we provide fast and practical solutions:

1. Remote video guidance: The technical team guides on-site personnel to troubleshoot the fault (such as replacing self-healing components, wiring correction, etc.) through real-time video connection. 50% of common problems can be solved on the spot.

2. Replacement of faulty parts: After confirming that it cannot be repaired, the customer sends back the faulty capacitor, and we will send a new product of the same model with the next order (which can save shipping costs).


The trust foundation for continued cooperation

The chief engineer of the Ethiopian Sugar Factory wrote in the acceptance email: "The capacity deviation of the capacitor group in operation for three years is ≤1.5%, saving 370,000 kWh of electricity for the production line every year." The newly added power capacitors will be connected to the intelligent monitoring system and transmit data back to the Wenzhou data center in real time.
