In the field of engineering technology for self-healing parallel capacitors, the design of the shell structure is far from being a simple matter of appearance selection; it is a core consideration related to the safety and reliability of the products. When instantaneous high voltage is generated inside the capacitor due to self-healing actions or abnormal operating conditions, the shell will become the first line of defense against internal pressure shock. Ge Yue Electric, through in-depth mechanical analysis and a large number of experiments, discovered that the cylindrical shell of the Cylindrical Low Voltage Capacitor is more structurally advantageous in pressure bearing compared to the square shell of the rectangular low-voltage capacitor.

Structural Characteristics of Uniform Stress Distribution

When a cylindrical shell of a Cylindrical Low Voltage Capacitor is subjected to internal pressure, its stress distribution exhibits a highly uniform characteristic. According to the mechanics principles of thin-walled containers, the cylindrical structure mainly generates circumferential stress and axial stress under the action of internal pressure.
